In 2014, Kazakhstan formulated the "Bright Road" plan, dedicated to promoting infrastructure construction in Kazakhstan to ensure sustained economic development and social stability. Infrastructure projects mainly involve transportation, industry, energy, society and culture. Kazakhstan intends to invest 9 billion U.S. dollars in the implementation of the "Bright Road" plan between 2015 and 2017.
Docking of economic belt
Yang Xianghong, an associate researcher at the Eurasian Social Development Research Institute of the Development Research Center of the State Council, believes that the Silk Road Economic Belt can provide capital, technology and equipment support for the "Bright Road" on the one hand, and promote the development of Kazakhstan’s industry and adjustment of economic results through high-quality production capacity cooperation. Explore market potential, promote investment and consumption, create demand and employment, and help Kazakhstan's domestic economic development. On the other hand, it can also promote in-depth cooperation between China and Kazakhstan and other "road" countries, establish partnerships, build a multi-level interconnection network, promote the process of regional economic integration, and realize the diversified, independent, balanced and sustainable development of Kazakhstan.
